There is a certain intangible "something" about a person who is confident without being arrogant, carries themselves well, likes to smile, and ummm, has a bit of a mischievous air to them. I witnessed a somewhat overweight woman winning a bikini contest because she had "it". I've dated men who, from a picture, are not attractive, but had "it". And have also dated men who were beautiful, but were total *******. I'll take "it" any day. So, answer to the question... my guess is that you haven't had enough experience to know what "it" is and think it has to do just with body or face. Have fun learning!!!

I think everyone has their own opinion on beauty or attractiveness. If two people are meant for each other than they will find different aspects of each other appealing, it's not something you can put any rules on. Some people like personalities and some just like physical attractivness. Personally, I go by his morals, his character and personality, his attitude, his outlook on things... etc etc. And of course his overall physical appearance. But all of those are just little things that make up who he IS. It's everything about him that I would fall in love with, or be attracted to. His imperfections, his perfections, his faults, his weaknesses, his stregnths, everything.
But basically, everyone has their own preferences.

For this ole boy it's the person INSIDE that I'm attracted to. If they have nice features etc then that's an added bonus. I like a neat personality. Someone who is interested in me and what I do or what I have to say and the same with me...I enjoy talking to woman as well as looking at her attributes.

for girls, its body first, then the personality... thats why girls with great personality but not physically attractive are hard to impress guys. but once they have one, the guys rarely leave her side. but beautiful girls always have [shallow] guys flock around her but when her ugly personality is shown, it makes the guys wince.
as for guys, the factors that make him attractive is his bank account first, then personality followed by his physical. why i said physical the last factor that makes him attractive? because girls know that the physical didnt matter. most of the physically attractive guys are jerks anyway!

Attitude and demeanor...you can be a gargoyle and have the right outlook and personality and get the man/woman of your dreams, if you're on it. A good line of BS only goes so far...

A good personality: funny, nice, intelligent; and looks: not too short, pretty eyes, not too overweight, muscles are nice. It's all a matter of opinion really.
