I have learned this. No matter what we do in life there will be those people on either end of the spectrum, some will have good hearts and an open mind and others will be full of fear and hatred. I have learned that just when I think I can predict the response of someone they surprise me and most importantly I have had the knowledge reinforced that you just can't take anything personaly.
I hope you all (even you on the far end of the spectrum) have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Merry Christmas to you too! It has made me research more thoroughly what I believe so that I might be more able to defend it. It has also opened my mind a little to other's beliefs. I hope I've made a difference somewhere. Have a great night, whether it be Thursday or Friday (ha), everybody!

I have learned that REAL men like Girls, not boys.

That there is no such thing as a REAL atheist.

That people know less about religion than they do about fast food.

That most people make decisions without ALL of the FACTS.

That we truly are an EVIL and WICKED people (world)

That people honestly think too much of their opinions (me included)

That truth scares people so much that the only reaction they have to it is to be mean and nasty in their criticism of truth.

That no matter how many people give you the same answer, you stick to the opinion you had when you asked or read the question.

I've learned that there actually are a lot of U.S fundamentalist Christians out there. I had assumed this was just one of those stereotypes of Americans which had no basis in reality, like the idea that they are all fat, or all idiots.

I've learned that there are many people who are wise, kind, and helpful, and there are many people who are narrow-minded jerks convinced they are right and everyone else is wrong. So, yeah, I agree with you.
