I can't find anything out there that I am comfortable nursing in public in.It seems as if nursing clothes were designed by men!

You don't need special clothing. You can nurse discretely in regular clothing. The baby really covers everything anyway. Sometimes wearing 2 shirts helps, like a tank top under a sweater or a t-shirt under a button down shirt. You can unbutton a shirt from the bottom if you need easier access. You can take an old t-shirt or tank top and cut slits in it and wear it under your regular clothing as well.

This cracked me up so much!!

I'm not currently nursing, but I was. I HATED nursing in public because nothing really does a good job covering you up. Sure, you have the shirts that have the little holes to fit a boob through, but they don't take into account taking down the bra (which is hard to do through the shirt and have it adequately out of the way) and actually pulling the boob out to nurse. Umm...when you pull it out, it can be seen!!! They have shawls, but I don't wear shawls!!! I do wish there was a better option! That would be nice so I could feel completely covered and satisfy those psychos who want to throw fits.

Yup none of them work.

What I do: I wear a button or zip up shirt/sweater over a regular shirt. The button shirt when undone blocks the side boob. However, the layered look isn't alway that nice either.

Oh, and never try to nurse in a bathing suit *lol*

They're ridiculus. I was lucky that ponchos were fashionable with my first, they were great for nursing. Your best off now with layers, or getting like a cool big wide scarf then nursing clothes.
