I think we will all be shocked and amazed when we die. As for the decent moral person part. I think there is not a person in the world nor less on this site who can claim they were decent and moral. Hey we all have our pasts and did things we should not have. The question is who has the best defense attourney when they have to explain for their lives. Remember every second will be called to account. Who can stand up under that scrutiney? nobody unless you have a good defense attourney. after all it worked for OJ.

You are so right, and I believe “shocked” doesn’t come close to how many will actually feel when they learn of their ignorance of what they were to gather while on earth, and what they were to leave here on earth, instead of trying to sneak it into a higher level of consciousness. The human heart must do a 180 turn here and now. Easier said than done, but we are all capable of doing this work here.

I suspect quite a few answerers here may be shocked. Imagine if it's not God or Jesus up on that throne but Osiris! Then everybody'd be in deep trouble!
And I would laugh myself silly. Why? Because I can appriciate cosmic jokes.

i wouldn't be shocked. God is merciful and loving. God loves his creatures a million more times than a mother loves her children. What matters is that you were good, generous and unselfish. Do not believe yourself to be superior to others (that was satan's mistake) and be kind and compassionate. that is the point of religion and sadly the most religious extremists dont understand that.

If you believe in God then you believe in the bible. The bible clearly states what it takes to go to heaven and not to be shunned by God and that is to be born again. The bible clearly states that good deeds alone are meaningless as well as faith without deeds is meaningless. I think those who claim to believe in God but don't practice his word and live a life of devoted to Christ will be in shock when he replies depart from me for I know you not.

Totally agree. That's especially true for all these people who have so much fun mocking and making fun of atheists and other "non-believers". Seriously, there are some great Christians out there, but some of the others are anything but. How some of them call themselves Christ-like is beyond me.

As to whether you are resurrected to life or judgment is completely up to God and what he finds in your heart. The idea is not to do things because you may get rewarded for it, but because it needs to be done. Consider Moses, who couldn't enter the promise land because of just one sin. The question to ask is whether it was what he did, or presuming that because of all the good he did, he deserved to enter the Promise Land? Did he presume to know the heart and mind of God?

i think ur right. but what i think is that there might be no god, but u should still use the ten comandments as a guide line on how to live your life. but i think that when we die we will only see blank, u know like a blank turned off tv screen.

The people of Noah's time did not heed the warnings of flood and were destroyed.
Same today, symbolically, God has provided us an ark, the one true religion, if you are inside this ark you will not be destroyed, otherwise, you know what will happen.
