I felt that same way about my ex boyfriend when I was younger especially since he was my first boyfriend and even though he broke my heart a lot of times I still went back with him after the last time I didn't think I'd ever get over him and I had feelings for him for years but I finally got over him. It'll take time for you to get over him first of all you have to want to and it will happen just give yourself sometime. Trust me that's what I did and I finally got over him. You'll met someone who will be much better and if it takes him to help you then he will. One day you'll wonder why you thought you couldn't get over him like I do and if I ever run into him again it won't be so awkward because I am competely over him and see him as nothing more then a friend. That will happen for you just hang in there ok? Take my word for it right now you think it's impossible but it's not.

Well, I think most of us have been in your shoes. If you're newly broken up it will quite simply take time to heal. Don't try to fight all of the emotions you'll be going through but at the same time don't make it more difficult by contacting him or allowing him to contact you. If you truly want to move on a clean break is the best way to do that. If you are still wanting to hold on to him you need to figure out why. Best of luck to you and remember, time really does heal all wounds if we allow it to!

Do something for yourself, to make yourself a better person, relax with some meditation that you can find on the internet and get to know yourself.

It always happens when you leave them alone they come a callin', I think it's because they are curious about what or why you disappeared off the face of the planet and all friends have only good things to say about you behind your back :)

first think long and hard why you aren't with him now. understand that he probably hasn't changed and that you most definitely WILL go through it again. I would suggest that you are lonely and have a void that should not be filled with what has been proven to not work. Give yourself time because you're training yourself to be a co-dependant and with something that does not work. You need to stay alone for awhile to prove to yourself that you are able to survive without a man. Otherwise you will continue to find unhappiness due to settling.

The key word here is "X". Build a fence and get over it. Otherwise, talk to him, tell the truth (sometimes the truth just hurts). The worst thing to do is dwell on it! Good luck.

just give it time girl...u didn't say how long u guys were together and how long its been since u broke up...that all impacts the amount of time it will take u to get over him...like i said just give it time if u cant tell him about ur feelings...hang out with ur other friends..and try to enjoy being single again!!! just live ...life is way too short to worry about xs

Obviously there is a reason he is an X and not a current BF. If the reason wasn't that good then give it a shot. We are entitled to change our minds.

Either tell him or find a way to get over him. It's that simple.
