That's a great idea...Don't let anyone kid you, teachers love getting attention from their students and most professional teachers won't let it get in the way of your education...if you earn a D you'll get a D, present or no present but they'll like you and respect you just the same. Grades don't have anything to do with respect and appreciation of a personalilty.
Get them a present! Its a lovely gesture.

If you care more about what they've done to help you out than just get the gifts. Everyone likes to get a gift. It would probably be read more as them having connected with you somehow. Try to buy cheap and thoughtful or cheap and funny. They won't think you "tried too hard"

Sure, I think they would be like it, especially if it is funny and in good taste.
My son has a teacher who always claimed the kids were making him lose his marbles. Many of the kids placed bags of wrapped marbles on his desk to 'replace' the ones he lost.
Everyone enjoyed it.
Cookies are good too

I think it would be very nice of you. I would add a little card and tell them why you like them and why you think they are good teachers. :) Homemade cookies would be a good idea, you can put them in a Christmas tin (from target or walmart) or a cellophane bag with ribbon

Way back in the olden days when I was in school, if you bought all your teachers a present, it was kissing up. If you bought one or two teachers you really liked, it was being nice. If you bought a really expensive present, you were pushing for a better grade. ;)

i think that would be a very good gesture.it doesnt mean your hitting them up for a better grade,it just means that your thanking them for being a good teacher.

It's a great idea! They will feel appreciated which I think a lot of teachers need nowadays , some appreciation! You will probably make their holiday special.
