Hunts Point, Mott Haven (though a part has recently become "trendy"), Simpson St., Morrisania, Highbridge, Melrose, Morris Heights, West Farms...all of those areas are pretty much the South Bronx. Certain parts of the North Bronx (Edenwald, Baychester, Wakefield) are rough too.

HOWEVER, there are GOOD areas in the Bronx. (Throgs Neck, Riverdale, Spuyten Duyvil, City Island, Woodlawn)

yeah, throgs neck, riverdale, and city island ate actually really rich and influencial ppl. its just b/c ppl sterotype about the bronx so badly, no one realizes that the rich ppl in these areas are actually some of the richest ppl in NY.

Hunts Point is probably the roughest area - that's where all the hookers and pimps hang out.
