Yes you were wrong. When I was in school we wouldn't dream of using that kind of language in a classroom. Actually I still choose not to have a foul mouth.

Somehow, I don't think that's the entire story. If your teacher has skin that thin, it's not likely that he would remain a teacher for very long. If you were using language that got splatted here in school, perhaps you are just a bit more disruptive than you assert.

I don't think talking about God is necessarily wrong, as long as one faith isn't presented as better or preferred. The concept of deity has been a major motivator of cultures throughout history. Teaching history without talking about God makes about as much sense as teaching music without talking about scales.

Laughing about another's faith in any context shows nothing but contempt and immaturity. I too, believe in a Goddess. I too, found your statement (even splatted) revolting and crude. We live in a multicultural world. Many different religions have the concept of a Goddess. Some people believe in no God, and many have different concepts of God than you do. Being crude or insulting or harrassing people because their beliefs are different than you is simply arrogant.

You don't feel that you were suspended because you were disruptive. You probably want to think that you were being discriminated against because you are a Christian, and therefore some sort of educational martyr. The truth is that you were rude, insulting and disruptive. Any language that you used in a classroom that gets splatted here shows that you are simply crude.

Yes , You were sooo wrong, That's why we have all the problems in our schools today , little foul mouth , class disrupting , want to be's just like you . . But of course I know you could care less, This will sure not be a popular anser for you but that's just to bad,, Have respect for your teachers, I'm so curious to know if your parents , grounded you or did something to show you were wrong I sure hope they did.. I kind of thinking they went to bat for you aganist the school, and if they did then that why you are like you are Apples don't fall far from the tree ... If you don't change your attitude soon , you will be another lost cause, a waste of all the tax payers dollars that are trying to Education You.. Don't You Get It.. Probably Not..

The teacher disrupted the class to begin with by straying from the lesson plan and stating his opinion. Also, you were disputing his opinion and not facts, so he had no grounds to be angry. If he felt he could give his opinion in a classroom setting, then all people in that classroom should feel free to express theirs concerning the subject he brings up.

I'm basing my answer on your statement that it wasn't the word you used that was grounds for your suspension.

I bet it sounded oh so funny in your head, but you sounded like a total douche when you actually said it. If someone is trying to have an intelligent conversation, dont mess it up by acting like a stupid douche.

Not really, but probably you hit a nerve on your history teacher, you might not be the problem but he is. He should discipline him self as well. I'm sorry there are people out there that acting they like their job but the reality they don't., and he was one of them.

Well you took his image of god and turned it into something degrading and ugly. On top of that, you were inappropriate with your language and on top of all that it sounds like you don't respect women, and what you said could be taken as sexual harrassment. You were wrong, and they were right to suspend you.

Your school is fu cked up!!! It's your right to express your self, just like it was your teachers right to give his opinion. You got suspended because your teacher didn't like what he heard from you. I would have fought that one.
