My girlfriend of 6 years recently broke up with me. I love her with my whole heart, I want to marry her. What is something I can do that's more special than anything in the world.

you should think of what kind of person she is. This will make you feel much better. If the truth is you do really love her and she is smug " I broke his heart haha " well she is a cumdumpster. And you should be glad she is a dumpster for someone else. ONe mans trash another treasure in reverse role . Let her squallow in regret all the while you stay steadily improveing. Cant be perfect , but can always try to be.

If she's in another relationship yo need to just walk away and give her her space to explore with others. If she is not interested in someone else than your're in luck...maybe. If you know why she broke up with you you need to use THAT to your advantages. It is said that the way to a man's heart is good cooked food.....some truth lies there. Well the way to a woman's heart is being a 'GOOD LISTENER'......a lot of truth lies there! So don't be pushy, but be supportive of what she wants out of life and be honest abut what you want out of life. Let her know that you have dreams and plans as well. Most ambitous people wants a relationship with an ambitious person. Women are impressed with men who are intelligent and thoughtful. If you don't know why she left you after 6 years-find out. Maybe she feels you are not the one for her to make a serious commitment with or she is not ready for that big step yet. Ask her if you all can just be FRIENDS and call each other from time to time. That way you will began your relationship anew. Friendship is the best way to start a romantic and intimate relationship with someone. Be patient and wait.......if it's to be, it will be. If it's not to be, be wise and leave with dignity. Someone better awaits you!

If she broke up with you after such a long time do you know ask yourself why? Being with someone for so long and then braking up with them is not done lightly. She did it for a reason. If you don't know why she broke up with you, maybe you should try and find out why, because it might help you come to terms with the end of the relationship. It may also help you to discover if there is any hope of you getting back together. I don't know what your ex is like, but personally I would hate it if i had broke up with someone and they did some big romantic gersture. Think about what you are doing carefuly.

This is the one and only way that she will know that you love her...
i know this is gonna sound crazy, but you dont have to buy her something expensive, or take her out to a fancy dinner, or pamper her like crazy. All you have to do is sit her down, and genuinly tell her how you feel. Tell you still love her, and that you would love to be with her for the rest of your life. Telling her this will mean more to her then anything you could ever buy for her.
Good luck with this, i know that sometimes this kind of situation gets sticky, but you just gotta put the truth out there and be real. by posting this, it really shows that you love her because you took all this time and you really want people good advice. I respect that a lot!!!

write her a letter. write all the memories that have changed your life, why you love her so much, and everything you want her to know for the rest of her life whether you guys get married or not. good luck.
