its french right? its the name of my cat sitters busines, just wondering what it really means. thanks

An au pair is a young person who lives with a family as a member of the household and does housework to earn her keep. So I suppose that this is the intention behind the cat sitter's business: the people concerned stay in the household and do the various jobs associated with the cat!
