It's due tomorrow (I found out Monday), and this week has been especially hard. I always do the work, so it's not so I am lazy, but I have had a lot to deal with. I've had to finish college admissions essays and a psychology paper as well. I also deal with abuse in my home, and it has also made writing this paper hard. My father thought it would be humorous to leave me stranded at a wal-mart today, and no one answers their phone. Hours were wasted because of him today, and so many other things have made completion of this paper difficult.

So how do I make my paper appear longer? It needs to be 10 pages long. Please, I'd be very thankful for any tips you could give me.

I'd talk to my teach about it, and my "excuse," even though there should be no excuses for not doing your work.. but he probably the least understanding of all my teachers. I like him (I don't know if that is strange), but he does not make exceptions, and each day late (weekends and winter break included), is -20 points

ok you can go to page setup and make the margins a little smaller, use a different font type like comic scan (which) is usally bigger), add pictures, add a title page, or just write more or add more details or even talk about stuff a little off topic.

Double check your sentences to see if you can make them longer by adding what I call "filler words". Popular opinion has it that essays and research papers can be lengthened by sticking in filler words wherever possible. Good Luck! Well there are a couple things you could do. You could change the spacing between lines bigger. Change it from 1 to 1/2 and it will spread the whole paper out. You could also make the font bigger on the words themselves.

Good luck using any of the above advice - unless your teacher is a total idiot! These are the cheapest, sleaziest, and oldest tricks in the book. A good teacher will not fall for any of them. My advice is to turn in quality work and hope that the quality will override the lack of length to some extent. If not, take the lower grade that you earned and do better next time.

In addition to font size and graphics, you can also adjust the margins (I think you go File - Page Setup) to a little bit smaller, it should get you a good amount if you've got a long paper. Good luck, happy holidays!

Add some quotes and explain them in detail. give examples to prove your points, and like all the others said, increase the space between words and lines, draw big diagrams, this should help, and keep up the good work, study well, all the best

I shall begin by assuming, that for obvious reasons that there would be a minimum word count required for this assigment to meet the project criteria prior to submission to your teacher for grading, correct?

Above is and example of how to change a 8 word question into a 35 word question.

Use lots of footnotes.

Make sure you double space. Don't make the font any bigger than 12 though. Insert some tables and graphs into the text so it takes up space.

Try adding pictures or graphs to reinforce major ideas. Also, try to set the margins to 1.5 inches, add end notes instead of a works cited page, double space, and add your name and page number in either the header or the footer.

Make it double spaced, then increase it by 1 font size each page.
