I take them when I feel sick and they seem to work, but maybe it is a placebo effect.

I take them when I start to feel sick, and then I don't get sick. When I start to feel sick, and don't take them, I get sick. Then I take them and the cold goes away in just 3 days. I don't care if it's the placebo effect, because it seems to work. And the stuff in them certainly can't hurt.

No truth whatsoever. I forgot what magazine (possibly Time) I was reading about this in and they actually have vitamins that all are known to prevent certain ailments. A placebo effect may add to it, but it's a natural, homeopathic medicine. No hurt in taking it - especially because of all the possible benefits (and vitamins are good for you in the first place)

You silly people and your supplements et al.

I just wish I had the absence of ethics so that I could package nonsense and sell it to the desperate, but ignorant, masses.

It doesn't work, at least not in a world of logic and reason driven by the scientific method.

Still, if it makes you feel better, go for it until they find something dangerous about it.

Your better bet is to stay hydrated before, during, and after the flight. You gotta keep your mucosa wet without sticking anything foreign in your mouth and nose. Hydrate, wash your hands, and don't touch your face.

I do feel they work. The herbs and zinc combined together boost one's immunity to infection, viruses, etc. Cold Eaze also works well. It's zinc glutonate.
