I feel so ugly I been crying all day I cant go to a graduation party a christmas party and new yrs like this. Ok before I came in the dental office they said the were going to give me the invisalign with a tooth painted on it and i could wear it in three days, but right when they were ready to extract it the dentist said two weeks. Im like two weeks????? No i wanted to die anywho my old dentist has this flipper I was thinking about getting but I canceled it but he still has it. Guys wat should I do bc i dont want to walk around toothless Im too young for all this somebody help me ASAP?????????????/

Sorry to hear about your tooth.
The socket where the tooth was pulled from has to heal correctly. Your dentist will know best of how to make this happen.
Just practice your closed mouth smile, and talking without moving your lower lip.
If asked just tell the truth, 'I had some dental work and my mouth hurts."
Lots of people go thru this and are embarrassed, just like you.
some new years parties people wear masks, see if you can go to one of those.
Stay out of pictures for now.
You will get a bridge or implant later.

What can we do?
Really, you have two choices, you can sit at home alone miserable over the festive season, OR you can say what the heck? I'll go and have a good time and by the time I've had a few drinks I will forget about my tooth.
The bottom teeth arent that noticeable anyway!
And if your friends are really your friends they wont be judging you on your appearance.
Turn it into a joke. Learn to laugh at yourself, put on your best dress and have a ball!
