okay heres the deal i know a kid getting charged with murder is there anywhere online i can check out wats going on in his case??

I would suggest Googling your state with the words "case lookup" "court cases" "docketing" "criminal cases"...something along those lines, to see if your specific state has an online data base. If your state does have a database, you should be able to search your friend's name and see what comes up.

For example, we have such a system here in New Mexico, and you can look up any defendant, civil case, divorce case, traffic ticket, etc in the state of new mexico and see what's going on with the case.

Of course, you will only be able to get general information about the case....like when the court dates are, who the Judge is, etc. You can't look up EXACT specifics of a case.

Best bet would likely be a local news site...I don't know of any official government website that would provide that information.
