Yes, Palm Trees are decorated for Christmas and other holidays. Not only in Florida but in tropical and sub-tropical climates around the world.Palm trees are decorated as Christmas Trees. I live in the Philippines and so many tropical trees are decorated for the holidays !
Right now I am in Shenzhen , China and even though the predominant religion is Buddhism, many Palm Trees are covered with Christmas Lights.

Inside we have regular evergreen trees - but some people put lights and stuff on their palm trees in the yard.

Yes, they do and it looks wonderful. If you have Christmas spirit and a ladder that is tall enough (and safe enough), I say go for it. Enjoy your lights and have a very Merry Christmas!

Yes several of my neighbors have. Lights around the trunck, lights in the top.

the weirdos in california do. they take string lights and spiral them up the trunk. looks nice, but buddy, christmas is not a pacific holiday.
