Running and walking both work the calves. I suggest walking or running on an incline. Start with a 2.0 incline and work up to 5.0. Walking on an incline works the calves more because it needs to push off the surface harder. Other exercises to work out the calves if to climb stairs.

You will not see results in 3 days. You may not see them for up to a month or more, depending on the level of intensity. Running will provide better and faster results than walking. If you want more shapely toned calves, try running on your toes. When you feel those puppies burning, you'll know you're doing it correct.

Its not on a treadmill, but some weight training will help to speed results. Hold some hand weights in your hands, five or ten lbs, and stand strait up with your arms down strait by your side. Roll up onto your tip toes. Slowly come back down. Do three sets of ten.

Walk around more on your toes or if you are female, use high heeled shoes more often. That works the cafves. Good Luck!
