Well it depends on what your box is tuned to (if its ported) If sealed then you probably wont win a competition with one sub. If its tuned high, then you will want to use a song with higher bass, if its tuned low, then you would want a song that has low bass. Im not going to try to explain box tunings because its not worth the typing i would have to do.
