We are surrounded by evidence of a Creator. Regarding him, the apostle Paul wrote: “His invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s [mankind’s] creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they [unbelievers] are inexcusable.” (Romans 1:20) The Creator left his imprint on his handiwork. Paul is thus saying that from the start of mankind’s existence, it has been possible for humans to ‘perceive’ evidence of God’s existence by means of the visible creation. Where is this evidence?

We see evidence of God in the starry heavens. “The heavens are declaring the glory of God,” says Psalm 19:1. “The heavens”—the sun, moon, and stars—testify to God’s power and wisdom. The sheer number of stars fills us with awe. And all these heavenly bodies move through space, not aimlessly, but according to precise physical laws. (Isaiah 40:26) Is it reasonable to attribute such order to blind chance? Significantly, many scientists say that the universe had a sudden beginning. Explaining the implications of this, one professor wrote: “A universe that eternally existed is much more congenial to an atheistic or agnostic [view]. By the same token, a universe that began seems to demand a first cause; for who could imagine such an effect without a sufficient cause?”

We also see on the earth evidence of God. The psalmist exclaimed: “How many your works are, O Jehovah! All of them in wisdom you have made. The earth is full of your productions.” (Psalm 104:24) Jehovah’s “productions,” including the animal creation, bespeak his wisdom. As we noted at the outset, the design of living things is such that scientists often seek to mimic it. Consider a few other examples. Researchers are studying antlers, with the goal of building stronger helmets; they are looking at a species of fly that has acute hearing, with a view toward improving hearing aids; and they are examining the wing feathers of owls, with the idea of improving stealth airplanes. But try as he will, man cannot truly duplicate the perfect originals found in nature. Notes the book Biomimicry—Innovation Inspired by Nature: “Living things have done everything we want to do, without guzzling fossil fuel, polluting the planet, or mortgaging their future.” What wisdom indeed!

Whether you look at the heavens above or gaze at creation right here on earth, the evidence of a Creator is clear. (Jeremiah 10:12) We should heartily agree with the heavenly creatures who cry out: “You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things.” (Revelation 4:11) Yet, many scientists fail to see the evidence with ‘the eyes of their heart,’ even though they may marvel at the design in things they see with the eyes of their body. (Ephesians 1:18) We can illustrate it this way: To admire the beauty and design in nature and deny the existence of a Great Designer is as illogical as admiring a magnificent painting and at the same time denying the existence of the artist who transformed a blank canvas into a masterpiece.

There is none. And if using your mine means you have "hardened your heart" then religion is more moronic than any of us could have imagined. But in fact there is a lot of evidence that god does not exist. While it is true that you cannot find evidence either way if the question is "does an invisible undetectable being called god exist" because the very statement makes no assertions about consequences that follow from his existence, you can certainly look for evidence once claims are made for things that do arise because he is there. Religion falls into the latter not the former category. And this is why there is so much trouble between science and some religious sects. A good example is how the Earth came into being. The bible has an account of this that is provably false using the most basic knowledge of science, yet this is disputed repeatedly by Christians. There are lots of other examples of evidence that disporves claims made by the religious of god. So the balance is no evidence for, lots of evidence against.

First, if you believe that the Bible is God's spoken word, there's all your "proof" in the world. If you need more that that however, look around! Do you think this all happened by chance? A big bang and one celled animals just happened to turn into fish who just happened to turn into monkeys who just happened to turn into humans?! That alone is enough evidence for most people to believe in something bigger. Did you know that Darwin wrote two whole chapters in the "Origin of Species" explaining the flaws with his theory?

Then of course there are my personal experiences which I'd rather not share on a public forum but that have led me to firmly believe that this 'something bigger' is the God in which I now live for.

Anyway, asking this question is like asking a fish why it stays in water. It's what I need.

I want you to 'create' a flower for yourself. Not grow it from a seed. Or graft it into another plant. Instead, create it from nothing.

Or better yet! Create some dirt! Create water! Create fruit! Create vegetables! Create a bird! Create a cat! Create a dog!

Here is the ultimate one .... Create a duplicate of yourself! Not grow it in a test tube, not clone it, not reproduce it from a copy, just create it!

You could take it even one step further by explaining to man how the universe with all of it's diverse complexities works. Why certain stars are created certain ways. Why some galaxies run from each whilst other galaxies are colliding with each other. You could tell man where every black hole is in the Universe.

You could once and for all settle the GREATEST ARGUMENT over your spoken word, Tell man what your LOVE is and why it is that way. For all of mankind believe in GOD (well not all mankind) and think they are going to heaven to be with him because of HIS MERCY.

You could explain all of the mysteries about the Bible. You could show man more mysteries and explanations of things they never knew existed. You could set the ultimate PEACE PLAN in order.

If only "YOU COULD DO ALL OF THESE THINGS!"

But seeing you are just a man like the rest of us you have to make a choice as to what belief you are going to follow.

This offered for evidence that GOD is "THE GREAT I AM!"

There are so many answers to this question. I will make it very simple....I am evidence and a witness of God. I have seen the power and wonder with my eyes. I am either a liar or I tell the truth when I say God is real.

Avast mate, we have a problem in terminology and logic. If a proof of God existed, then the proof would be greater than God - impossible. And the reader/validator of said proof would be greater yet.
Evidence is a matter of science = something that can be repeated at another place, time, person.
Faith is the matter of theology and the PRESENSE of God.
You might find their intersection of interest in Augustine's City of God where Platonism met Aristotelian logic or in Pascal's Pensees. (Shorter by far).

I am of The True Christian Faith. I will not even try to "prove" God to you... because I can not... even though I know for absolute certain that He is.... and no one else of The Faith can prove God to you either.... the proof you seek is between God and you....If you have any question about the basics of The True Christian Faith you ay email me. One honest question receives one honest answer to the best of my ability..... to save time... no one of The Faith can tell you where God comes from either....

There is no evidence of either. The only thing we have is logic. The problem with logic is every one has their own logic and it rarely agrees with anyone. So just let us go count our monkey bones and you Christians can go suck your thumbs. Other religions are unimportant, you can just set in the corner with a dunce cap. Oh boy I'm only kidding I love you guys. Peace, God Bless Everyone, xx

Good question!

Have you been able to create life from non-living material like the Big Bang theory suggest? Not even the Scientist can!

If you think about it - life has to come from life - which means something living had to put us here!

how about the fact that no one can PROVE there is a god.
Also, science can explain may things that the bible tries to (where we come from). And from the religious stand point, you just can't get any facts.
