Hello buddies. I never drink water and its so hard for me to become thirsty unless its very hot. I usually have to force myself to drink water, I drink less than 1 small glass a day. I could go without water for a long time because I don't get thirsty and I have to force myself to drink water, and when I do, I end up drinking only 1 large class of water and no water for the rest of the day.
Is this normal? Is there something wrong?

Plus i have seen on tv ; ''that whenever you are hungry, it sometimes can mean that you are actually thirsty so try to drink a cup of water and see if that does the drink before you eat anything''

Also fatty foods and salt make me extremely thirsty roughly about an hour after ive eaten them and i start drinking water like Im standing underneath a waterfall with my mouth open! I get happy when that happens, and I do love water, but I'm never in the mood to drink it. HAHAHA CAMEL yes i think i might classify myself as a camel that is hilarious

You are putting yourself at risk for fluid imbalances. Many things can go wrong with fluid imbalances. Your body needs water. You could acutally be dehydrated. The water helps flush toxins out of your system. Without it, the toxins may stay in your body for longer than normal. Toxins are found in a lot of the things you eat and even drink, like processed juice. Water helps keep your skin clear and your complexion nice. Its also used by your organs and help give volume to your blood that circulates to the rest of your body. Not getting enough water can cause headaches. Also, think about this, everything you drink MUST be filtered by your kideneys. Particulates can build up, and one day, you'll have a kidney stone. I've heard those are extremely painful to pass. Water is vitally important. You should learn to like it. Especially as you age, your body needs it for proper functioning. Learn to like it if you want to live longer.

Thirst can sometimes be confused with hunger. If you are drinking other fluid's or eating things with a high water content that may also cause a lack of desire to drink water. I would say If all you drink is a small glass of water a day then you should see a doctor soon. Eventually you will .

hi Jenna,
Definitely, your body requires water and should be drinking at least 8 glasses per day. You might want your Dr. 2 run some blood tests 4 u as u are with holding an important part of of nutrient it needs. Should u not like or care 4 water, there is now flavoured water to quench r pellet.

You might not be that inspired by water, but carrying a water bottle around -the camping kind, 1 liter capacity- will make you drink more, which is better for you than no water, or juice/soda/coffee.
I was the same way, but since I've started drinking more water my body has functioned much better.

I think it's normal.... Someone above said judge it by your pee...I agree. If water is just not appealing, make tea, or mix it your juice ie: gatorade or fruit juice. I HATE drinking water, the only way I will is if it's freezing cold....
