I use plastic. When I DO have paper money, I blot out the word "God" with a sharpie. It's never prevented me from spending the money.

I don't think atheist are the only ones who worship money Christians and the heads of many churches crave it just as much besides in a capitalist society you need money to survive blame the government and the multi-nationals for that not the atheists

Not being an atheist so not knowing for sure I think the majority of them base there belief on scientific 'facts' and common logic I mean lets face unless you practise a gnostic form of belief you can not prove higher energies exist to yourself so in all logic you deny their existence no proof=no existence I mean overall its quite similar to a gnostic view point anyway .

The downfall being that one day science may just prove the existence of higher energies then those who take that view will have no choice to accept it , the problem with science as with most other philosphical schools of thoughts is it is ,limited by both the instruments and the knowledge available so in all reality it also lacks true validity

What? I hope you realize that your question really doesn't make sense. Why would I need an imaginary god? If I included some imaginary god just for completeness' sake, do you really think some omnipresent being wouldn't see through that?

i'm agnostic and i find this question to be sort of illogical and lacks common sense and reason anyway money is paper that's colored and it's real because you can feel it and see it now with god i have no idea if he's real or not but i know one thing i don't see him or feel him in a physical way and i can do things with money like buy food and clothes and whatever i want i can't pay for things with god now can i not that i'm trying to knock you for believing in god i'm just questioning your logic reason and common sense

Why should I believe in a God for the sole purpose of conforming to society's theistic standards?

gee what did I tell you ? and he calls himself a " good christian " ! it often amazes me just how much evil is in the human soul and how little self control people like this truly have !

I don't believe in God but I respect others beliefs as long as they don't try to get the government to force it on me.

Being a Canadian, there's no silly messages about "god" on any of the bills in my wallet. And they're colour coded too!

When I go the store, if I tried to pay them for the food my children need by handing them 'god', would that work??

And where do you get the idea that we worship anything?
