Where Do i go to to changed my last name?

If you just want to change your name from one name to another. You will have to hire a lawyer, to file all the correct papers for a name change. Then when it is done you still have to change you Social Security card, credit cards, drivers license, etc.
If you just got married, assuming you are a female, you would have to use a copy of the marriage certificate to change all the above mentioned.

If you are married, try the town hall. If you are not changing to a married name, try the courthouse.
