Get her a kong - practically indestructible and smear a bit of peanut butter in it - or put in a big piece of liver treat that won't fit out of the hole (you squash the kong to get it in) so she has to work at it a while.
Fresh meaty bones are always a hit with mine (no cooked chicken bones, they could kill her - try to only give her necks and wings if you're looking at chicken and make sure it's raw).
I give my yorkies those little squeaky furry mouse toys that are meant for cats - they rip apart easily though so you have to watch them and be ready to confiscate. I make them last longer by getting out the spare mattress for guests, putting the mouse toy on top of the mattress, and then putting a fitted bed sheet on top. Squeak the toy, they try to dig at the bed to get the mouse out. On days when it's too rainy or cold to go for a walk, that's the BEST exercise!! :) Oh yeah they do have genuine rabbit fur on them though so if you're opposed to that - then maybe not but I haven't seen a toy that they will go as wild over as those.
My yorkies also love those cat toys that are made of a long (about a yard - less than a metre) flexible plastic rod with feathers on the end. You wave it around and they try to catch it, you make them jump and torture them by waving it over their heads and touching their backs near their tail with it. She'll spin and spin and jump and run... they're really good fun.
Squeaky toys are always great for little yorkies on the go. They have some pretty good ones these days but I agree that many of the dog toys aren't that great.
I often try to buy my yorkies those cute little toys for human babies. They're practically indestructible cause they have to pass government set testing and they don't have bobbly eyes that can be swallowed or chewed off. Some will have squeakers in them, others have rattley sounding things in them. My dogs love those too.
Get her a pig's ear or paddywack (neck tendon) or pork trotters... they love that stuff too and if she's a chewer that's great. Yorkies are notorious for awful teeth.
I think that apart from a hug and a kiss from you - they're my best suggestions.
Cheers!! :)

we breed and raise min pins and they love to chew also and so each christmas we hang a stocking up for all of them and fill them with a new kong witch is a toy that you can get a petsmart or petco, those toys are very hard to chew up,, a pig ear, a new collar, a new jacket cause its cold where i live and all kinds of dog treats that are sold at petco that look like chocolate chip cookies and other ones that are really appealing looking,,, This is just an idea of what we do for our dogs so i hope this has helped and Merry Christmas to you and to your new sweet little Yorkie

They have toys for dogs that no dog can shred to pieces. I have a german shepherd that eats everything..even trees!! I bought her a toy Tire, (they come in different sizes) and a few other things that she can't get her teeth through. Go to any petstore and ask them about toys that are UNBREAKABLE!! In fact, I have a plush toy that is very very difficult to break. Ask about those!! Its like a sheepskin or something. Its worth the extra money because you won't have to keep buying things for your dog. Good luck and merry Christmas!!

i like kongs. you can get them in small sizes for a little one like that and you can put treats and stuff in them to keep them busy for a minute. plus they are made out of a very strong rubber so the dog will have a difficult time chewing that up.

Get it some bones or a kong to keep it occupied so it will not chew on important things.

alright, just my opinion... but i had a similar question about my pup last Christmas (our first one together). Here are some suggestions that might work nicely, since your pup's a chewer.
squeaky toys are a BIG hit for little dogs who like to chew.
a new leash/collar
special treats she wouldn't necessarily get
a placemat for under her water/food bowls - my dog has "spoiled rotten" on hers
a jacket if it's cold where you are?
good luck my friend. enjoy your Christmas.

A small kong. They are made of durable rubber so she can chew it all she wants. You can also fill them with treats or a product called Kong Stuffin which comes in different flavors.

A treat ball. My dogs have this treat ball, that you can record a message, in your voice, on it. My dogs love to hear my voice cheering them on,while they try to get the goodys out of the ball. I think most major pet supply stores carry this toy.
