i'd say a dog like that should end up being good sized. they can vary a lot, my roommate has a female pure bred that is over 60lbs but iv'e seen them over 80lbs before. a dog that young should really be growing fast if you feed large breed puppy food which is what a dog like that needs to grow properly, otherwise they litterally grow too fast and it is bad for them. my dog is 65lbs and she was gaining about 2 pounds per week until around 8 months old. you should see serious size change very soon.

6 months you should see change in size. Keep in mind the size of her paws. Also did you see its parents? the size of the momma & poppa gives you a good idea of the total size.

Are you worried about him being too small or too big. Dogs grow every month so you'll need to watch for changes. They will grow until they are 1.5-2.0 years old.

Pits generally reach maturity around 2 years. what they look like then is pretty much what you get, till then they are puppies in nature and sometime apperance.
