So my hair is currently dyed black, although it has faded to a pretty dark brown.
My natural hair color is an extremely light brown, almost gold.
Im thinking about going blonde,
maybe dying it a brown first, then a lighter brown
and then by summer i am planning on going blonde.

Not like the "summer blonde" color,
but maybe a white blonde, or even platinum.

Please tell me if you think blonde would fit my skin tone,
here are a few photos.

I'm getting it done professionaly at
Toni & Guy.
Because that is my salon,

and i plan on getting a cut before i dye it, too like a sort of mullet like cut but keeping the front and back long and just having it short in thr middle,
then getting extentions.

yeah..it'll be pretty. die it brown first then the lighter brown and in the summer do the blonde thing (so that the change isn't too drastic, unless you want a drastic change.)

No. Not to be mean, but I don't think platinum blond would suit you. Stick with darker colors, because really light blond will make you look washed out. If your dying to lighten, try some carmel or honey colored highlights. Do lots of them. Those would look nice with your complexion.
Pull up a picture of Shakira (You look like her) and check out her blond color (It's the honey and carmel colors). If you like it, then bring it to the hairstylists so they could get a good idea on what your talking about.
And I'm not sure how you feel about it, but you'd be a good candidate for some burgundy low-lights.(just a suggestion)
Also, don't forget, that some people can't go blond without getting brassy. I have dark brown hair like you and got my hair stripped and dyed blond and in a week it was orange-y. It looked ridiculous. Whatever you choose, don't do it on your own. Have a professional do it.
Good luck

after looking at your photos, i think blonde would be good on you. a very cool plantium would be very dramatic with your dark brown eyes and olive skin, and would require lots of upkeep ($). you need to keep in mind you would have to get your roots touched up every 3 to 4 weeks to not look bad. once you are sure you can commit to that, then go to Toni and Guy and let your colorist know what you are planning.they can then begin to transition you into the look you want, maybe by gradually adding blonde into your dark hair until you are more blonde all over then lightening it to the lightest you can safely go. This way you can get used to the blonde and decide if it is really what you want without going so quickly from dark to blonde, which is hard for even a pro to do and damaging. especially if your hair is currently tinted, as they would be lifting tint from the hair then lifting the hair itself, which can be difficult. i say "ohhhh yeah" blonde really is a good change to undergo. but be sure when you get the dye or whatever make sure it says that it will protect your hair from unwanted color...which means -wont turn it bright red- lol that happened to one of my friends once... :) lol well good luck!

Not really. You then will probably have to change your hair style to fit a blonde.

I'm sure it'll be fine. And if it does look bad, you can always just dye it back! I like your jeans. lol
