I like the last two answers best. Frankly, there right. I have dated the "bad boy" image before. And all they care about is theirself. What really always pissed me off is how they would tell me to do something "now woman" I don't mind being called woman, but when they tell me to "put out or get out" and you sit there for a minute trying to figure out if there serious and they yell at you "now woman" thats it for me. I got up and walked out. I think, no no. I KNOW I have the perfect guy right now. He, in no way shape or form treats me like dirt. He accepts me for who I am. I don't have to change for him or anything. I AM finally entitled to an opinion and lo and behold he actually will listen to me. Half the time my past boyfriends could care less what I said. And I just kept lowering and lowering my standards. Then I didn't have to for this guy I met back in the middle of August. He's great and I love him with all my heart.

This is right up there with the notion that nice guys finish last. And while it's going to seem true most of the time, it's not. You see, more aggressive men tend to be more attractive to most women. I think it's some Darwinian thing. The problem is, a lot of aggressive men later turn out to be jerks. Now, then there are a great many women who are still attracted to the more aggressive side of the guy and feel they can change him or that something about them - the woman- will bring out his better half. While it's not always the case, most of the time, it's just not true. Then there's that whole bad boy thing that women like. Why? The same reason we men have the Madonna/whore problem. We want a saint in the open and a sinner behind closed doors. Advice: be yourself. There are women out there who like nice guys. LOTS, in fact. Some women go through phases of wanting the bad boy, but most women who are worth it really appreciate being treated well by nice guys and will end up staying with them longer. Just as long as "nice" is not equivalent to "wuss."

Yes it seems that way to me to but who knows why but after a few beatings they come around to the guys who will treat them right but then they have gone through alot I wish some girl would let me know why they go for that type of guy I just can't be that way

yeah it seems to go that way alot but girls always think they can change a guy so they end up staying thinking hes gonna change, but doesnt. If a guy is set in his ways all you do is waist ur time thinking they will change .And some girls are superficial thinking thats as good as it gets. And thinking that way is just stupid. Girls need to open there eyes and really look @ how their threated in relationships.

it can be a very true statement. alot of times, girls go for guys that treat them like crap. Maybe it is your approach and your picks in women. approach someone that desires to be loved as much as you desire to love them. you'll get better results guaranteed.

no its not u... its actually quite true... for what reason its quite unsure... it does happen tho... i think that its perhaps that sum girls like bad boys and so they end up with sum messed up guy and i think that perhaps the other girls are totally oblivious to the fact that there guy isnt treating them right... for whatever reason it totally sucks... just keep being u and im sure ull find da right person... I, a girl myself, like to be with a man that is in control, until you take it so far. I don't want someone who tells me what to wear and picks out my friends and tells me where and where not to go. So I would have to agree with you.

most girls i know
tend to stay with the guys who treat them like crap
because they think that their boyfriend loves them
or they are in love with their boyfriend
i hate to see it happen but it does
if you're into a girl who's treated like dirt
get to know her better
and she'll realize that she deserves more.
