OK... I don't know if it's ever snowed in LA but I do remember it hailed so much that it looked like snow back when I was working in Gardena back in... 2004

No snow in Los Angeles, but if you drive as little as 30 miles North into the mountains, there is snow. For decent snow, you have to drive about 80 miles Northeast to Big Bear or Lake Arrowhead, where the elevation is high enough for the snow to stay.

well not in Los Angeles excalty although in Lake Arrowhead,
Big Bear it has snowed and sometimes even Lancaster ahd Palmdale have gotten some snow
