Oh now I get it. I have been wrong all these years. That beyond a shadow of a doubt convinces me that there *might* be a God. Well back to church for me. First thing Sunday morning I'll be back in my pew at St. Joseph's Catholic Church receiving the good word and looking for these *indirect* communications from God. Well maybe Saturday night so I can sleep in Sunday morning. Oh shoot it is close enough to Christmas to wait till then. For sure at midnight mass I will be looking for those *indirect* signs. Actually I don't know if I can stay up that late. Any ways you can expect me in church some time real soon.

No, it's because theres no god.
Honestly, why do Christians think that the bible is an "explanation" or "proof" of anything?
The only thing the bible is, is a book written by mankind when we still believed the world was flat and monsters roamed any areas we hadn't yet explored.
Don't you have anything else? Why do you think the bible is going to prove anything to someone that doesn't believe in your bible? Don't you see the illogic in that?
Its like me saying that ghosts exist. See, I know they exist but I don't expect you to believe me just because I said so or because someone wrote down in a book that they're real. That would be illogical and stupid.
The only way you'd believe is either a ghost appears to you or someone gives you real scientific proof of them.
So why don't yall just stop trying to use the bible? Either come up with something tangible and real or give it up.

There's no evidence of a god. The probability of one existing is vanishingly low. Get over it.
Adam and Eve never existed. If they did... Evolution would not be true. And since Evolution IS a fact... well, you can figure out the rest. No Adam and Eve... no "sin"... no Jesus, etc.

Why is it the only proof bible people offer is the bible? Maybe that's the ultimate triumph of science: science offers several proofs for what it reveals. Ask a bible person to prove something in the bible and all they offer is another bible passage.

WOW
deluded often?
there is no proof because there is no way for man to quantify or contain what God is.
YOUR version of YOUR faith works for you --GREAT
but Christianity or BIBLE based faiths are not the ONLY faiths that relate to God, sorry but they aren't.

Excuses, excuses. Do you think reverting to Jewish mythology will impress those rational atheists? The logical answer for why god doesn’t show himself is found here:

Why should humans have to pay for "original sin?" Adam's sin is not my sin.

No, there is no such thing as sin and even if there was god could still prove its existence to us.

I understand that there is no proof of god, and truly don't believe in the fairy tales, so saying that it's by his design (ie he's hiding from us) seems silly.
