If you want him to be a closer friend give him a key to your house. If you want to be status quo give him a gift certificate to something he likes or a better restaurant.

a gift vochur... they are always good... thats what i gave to my best guy friend... and then get him sumthing little that represents sum little joke that the 2 of u hav... that makes the gift more personal... hope that helps... Good luck

do you mean gift ? if so how about some cologne, shirt, ball cap of fav. team, etc..... something that you know he likes really well.
