Someone can only take advantage of you if you let them. People are who they are and you can't change them. You can only change how you react to them. Give you cousin as much or as little of yourself as you can afford to loose. At 9 a person has a lot of growing up to do and I'm sure a lot of changes. Might turn out to be just as kind as you at 18. No one can take advantage of you unless you allow them to, or if they are smarter than you. And if you want her to stop (because it makes you sad or angry), then why would you want to make her sad if you are a kind person like you say you are. At nine, she is still a child. At 18, you are a young adult. Start acting like it.

I have a nine year old cousin, and I am 4 years and 8 months older. He is very annoying... I have a brother who is just half a year older, and even HE thinks my cousin is annoying and immature. My cousin whines and cries, and always wants to get his way... and I'm not mature enough to deal with it!!

If you take advantage of her then you're not as nice as you're lying and claiming to be....
plus if you know your cousin is taking advantage of her then why are you letting her? Just don't do whatever she asks.

You don't let her take advantage of you. Stand up for yourself, there is enough of an age difference between you that you really don't have to see her much, certainly not socially.
What you should do is record the **** she does if her parents don't think she really does it. Open their eyes, set up a hidden camera or something.

You're an 18 year old adult, grow up and put the kid in her place if she's causing you problems. Do you want her to walk all over you for the rest of your life?

Trying to one up on a 9 year old can be more trouble than it's worth.
Just don't pay any attention to the 9 year old, they'll quit buggug you when they see they can't get under your skin.
