Ok, now that I have some ideas of what to buy, I have a couple of questions. Is the double jogger (in general) any wider than a double side by side? Do double side by sides fold down easily? Would you rather have a double side by side in a mall than a double jogger? Basically, I'm trying to compare the 2. Is it worth having BOTH a double jogger AND a double side by side? Why or why not?

I would say that it is worth having both. You pretty well seem very imformed. There are conviences of both kinds. double jogger better in malls. side by side suitable for stroll in park, etc. it also kind of depends on the children and there mood. side by side it's more convient for communication between children, probably less hair pulling and things as well.

I'd so go for both

The double jogger is harder to maneuver and steer, but it is considerably less wider than the side by side stroller. I had a double stroller where they were one behind the other. I really like that model but is was really bulky, as are all double strollers/joggers. The side by side, has four handles compared to one long handle of the jogger. I would have loved a jogger, but only was able to find the stroller. Ask the store if you can take it for a test walk outside, see what feels comfortable for you. Only you can decide. good Luck!
