My man has yet to show me his skills in the oral dept. He will have intercourse at anytime, but only talks about the oral aspects. What's up with that?? Are there men who think oral is more intimate than actual intercourse??? If so, what makes that so?

When a man (boy) is young - they tend to dwell on quantity not quality. When they get a little older and begin to really have feelings (love) then I think they focus on quality and the feelings that flow between the two people. While oral is very inimate, I think most men would rather have intercourse be the end with lots of foreplay along the way.

Maybe some do. I don't. It's been, for me, the point at which some sexual encounters ended, a "build up". But yeah, I've heard that a lot, from women too. And oral-anal stimulation a degree even higher of intimacy. Now that I'm thinking, it depends on how the sexual encounter is: if it's casual, oral is too intimate; if it's more than that, the actual intercourse is more intimate. Weird?

Considering how many people are on this planet, I have no doubt that everyone is different and some people probably do like oral sex more than normal sex or visa versa. As for why, who knows! Maybe it just feels better to them or it's more arrousing and intimate for whatever reason. The brain has yet to be fully understood. If your guy isn't into going there with you he may just not be used to it and afraid of how it will taste and feel, and afraid he won't please you. Give him time and if he refuses then just respect his decision.

If he hasnt yet givin u oral, maybe he just doesnt like the looks of it or the taste.....which is kinda selfish. Unless hes been told he wasnt that great at it and now hes scared to do it. But IMO i think sex is more intimate cuz youre closer and theres more feelings emotionally, well if ur in love that is.

Well it all comes down to the simple fact that everyone is different, some guys just tend to like oral sex better or find it more intimite than regular intercourse, this is where communication in the releationship has to come in, talk to him and find out what he likes better than others and visa versa....

You refer to 'actual' intercourse, as if there's a defined code of sexual activities. There isn't. It doesn't matter if the two of you prefer oral sex to penetrative sex- all that matters is if you enjoy yourselves and have a relationship that makes you both happy. That's the only standard by which to judge things.

He might not be thinking its more intimate. I say it is more intimate. If he is trying to slow things down to where he's comfortable then maybe hes keeping it in reserve, but now I ask myself why would he be talking about it? If hes bragging how good he can do it but doesn't try with you he doesn't want you to find out hes not very good..maybe? Hope this helps you.

Uh, WHAT? first off, that's just not cool. if you're going to do it for him then he should show you the same courtesy. in many studies it's proved that most women need that extra stimulation to reach orgasm. he should be fair. ask him about it. my bf is GREAT in that dept. & if he wasn't, the sex wouldn't be anything close to what it is. if he doesn't reciprocate, hes a jackass.

They say that true love is when someone else's needs, wants and desires become as important to you as your own are.
If oral is important to you, it will be important to ANY great guy in your life.
Maybe a change of male scenery is in order, if your man is unresponsive to your needs and wants.
