i think notecards help. write down important terms that are hard to memorize. then go over them again and again! and say it outloud- thatll help you remember the words and letters so itll trigger you to rmember the definition or whatever. good luck!!

read your books and I liked to get together with several people and go over the work

Depends on your learning style, I have to write and re-write my notes, answers. Others, who are better at listening will record their info and play it over and over. Hope that helps.
