I would wait till after you get christmas gift/s from them, then let them know you just cant stand being around them any longer.

Why is it necessary to break up with someone before the holidays? This time of year is meant to be happy. Don't ruin it for the person. Wait till after the holidays. Have a heart.

Now first of all why would you break up with someone over the holidays?? Christmas is a romantic holiday! And so is New Year's Eve. Personally what I would do is tell ur who ever you're dating," Umm... Look, I know its Christmas(or what ever holiday is it) but.." Then break up with her. Just try not to make it too painful! GOOD LUCK!!!!

This has got to be the most heart breaking question I've read today. Why would you anyway? Too cheap to buy him or her something? Why did you wait until the Holiday? But besides that, If you don't want them in your life anymore- the simplist thing to do is to JUST TELL THEM THE TRUTH.
