To me my purpose on earth is not only to work, make, money, buy this buy that, keep up with the Jone's in materialism but to discover what my talents are and use them directly or indirectly to help others in need. Life is about relationships and the people's lives you impact by caring, giving, and helping them be the best that they can be. I like to believe that if right now my life was taken away from me, and there was a ulogy service, who would be my friends that show up? What would they say about me and how I made a difference in their lives when they needed it the most? Would I be someone that cares mainly about myself or would I see the bigger picture of how we fit within the big picture of humanity.

God's purpose for man on earth has never changed, was just interrupted because Adam sinned.

We all share the same purpose, to fulfill the earth and subdue it. You might ask, if earth is filled would then there be no place to live? Would resources ran out and eventually earth will be destroyed?

Isaiah 45:18 For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.

What kind of people did God want to live on the earth? And for how long did he want them to live here? The Bible answers: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.”—Psalm 37:29; Revelation 21:3, 4.

There's no purpose -- we're just here.

We're all bozo's on this bus (old, old quote, for Firesign Theater fans).

We can choose purposes for ourselves.

Given that suffering sucks, I think a pretty good purpose is to help reduce the amount of suffering.

Others disagree.

All I know is, I'm here because that good swimmer reached the egg in the queue first.

To submit to our creator, life is like quality control, those who are good pass and go to heaven, those who fail, go to hell.

[023:115] "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?"

003:191] Those who remember God (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): "Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted are You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire

Our purpose on this earth is to determine where we will spend our (eternal) future. It is an opportunity for us to make choices: serve God or serve the world. We are also called to spread the Gospel to all nations.

Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, just as it is the spirit of an unspiritual situation. It is the opiate of the people.” Karl Marx

I don't believe we have one single purpose. I believe the human body is capable of achieving anything it puts it's mind too. I truly DON'T believe our purpose is too destroy human beings, however.
