So get out and MAKE friends. Join a church (or whatever relgious organization you belong to), join a gym, take classes in college, get a job, volunteer, join a "mommy and me" group. Then tell your husband that his loyalties lie with you and your child and not with his friends and either he starts respecting that or he can pack his things and leave.

If you need friends, than make some. There is no reason not to have friends, especially when you lover is so insensitive to you and your needs. Don't get me wrong, I do think there is a certain degree of jealousy involved here, but I do think he is being insensative. Get out there and make some friends. You have a baby, go to the park, meet other mothers. Look in the paper for playgroups in your area. Or go to the library or a local book store. Just go somewhere of interest to you. Most people are very receptive to meeting new people, especially new mothers. Just don't scare people away by trying to make plans the first time you meet them. Once you've met someone a couple of times, then try to make plans if you like them. Good Luck!

You have a BABY?????
wow
It doesn't sound like he cares about you or your feelings very much. You do need some relationships, friends, do some networking. I don't think your man is going to be around long.

You should get rid of the guy if he is ignoring you for his girl friends. But if you want to work it all out you should discuss your feelings with him and ask him about your relationship. This should clear up your mixed feelings.

You sure sound like you need a friend or two or six. If he has a life...and you just sit around and wait for him, that is a big problem.

If he isn't willing to make the time you need and give you the attention you want then he probably isn't worth it, chances are that there isn't anything you can really do to change this about him, i know it sucks.... but its also wrong of him, he should be trying harder to satisfy your need as well....
