do your parents monitor your internet time? Do they fully examine the sites you go to?

i aint 16 but i think it dont matter...my moms didnt tripp when she saw my stash of porn when i was 16 all she did was talk about wrapping my gun and how having sex has consequences like aids and even a kid of you own.....but nah dont spy on them explain whats out their and whats good and bad for them be honest dont lie to you kids you will regret it later

I am 16 now and no, my parents don't monitor me. When I was younger (10-13), yes they would see what sites I went to and what I did. But I think that if you have a child that you can trust, then monitoring them isn't that important. My parents know that I am not visiting porn or gambling sites and so it's really about how much you trust your child and security. However, with all the child abuse/abductions that have been happening recently, I think that monitoring should be watched just a bit more if you have younger children. Especially if they happen to have myspace accounts. But back to your orignal question, I think the older they are and the trust, monitoring kinda doesn't matter much.

I monitor it loosely, by having the computer in a public place. I spot check her myspace every so often. I have a 13 year old girl and a 17 year old boy, but they're both straight with me, so I trust them. A couple of suspicious things have come up, I've dealt with them.
I know you'll find some 16 and unders on here, but most of them are elsewhere.....:-)

No they don't monitor my internet time, because I'm a good student so they just let me play and chat and spend hours sitting here, but, of course, not more then 4 hours, that's just too much, and like I said I'm a good student so I always do my homework and stuff before going online, and they are happy about it.
And No, they don't know what I do when I'm sitting here, they trust me and let me be.
I love my parents!!!!

Well i think parents should trust there children, and just know if they go on myspace and yahoo a lot and other sites. There is no need. The first thing is just to trust your child.

NO AND NO because if you trust your child you would'nt be all up in there busniess because would you like it if your kids do that to you im speackimng as a child myself my parents does not do that because they trust me not to do anything stupid

no, and its better that way. If they did and your child found out they would never respect or trust you again. You also probably do not want to know what they are looking at. If your afraid of sex and drugs talk to them.
