I started working at a place in 00, left in 01 and came back in 05. I had developed a crush on a woman who started working before I left the first time. When I came back, she was still working there. She never knew how I felt until May of 06, when she asked me about dinner one night. I totally slipped throwing all my cards on the table. I knew she was married, later learned that her marriage has been falling apart for 3 years. One night we talked and she expressed an interest. I had always dreamt of this moment and now it was reality! We're both going through rough relationships but the end is in sight. We got closer, spending hrs on the phone, endless texting - but no sex. And I'm cool with that. We think it would be best to wait until she leaves him (her idea). That ROCKS. She moved out. I have met her family and spent Thanksgiving with them. Then SEX. I left again, and she hurts.We are in love.I hear it everyday. She is back with her abusive hubby. Should I walk away forever?

So, she wasn't divorced when you had sex with her? Either way, it is usually a bad idea to get involved with someone who is married, even if they tell you they are trying to end it. If you really think there is a future with her, wait until she is free (if she ever is) before moving forward in a relationship.
But, you should consider whether you want to be with a woman who cheats on her man. Don't think it will be necessarily different with you. She obviously has some mental problems if she is staying with an abusive husband.

Dear don't be mean to her about it,but you should walk away. Sadly you were her escape from the abusive non-fullfilling relationship she was in. Women find fullfillment in the relationships they keep,and the people that compliment their lives because they want to see it as "idea". But you are merely someone she could come to,and she fell in love with you,because you sound compassionate,ernest in listening to her plight,and non-judgemental. Women can sense it.
She may want to leave her husband,but you might want to tell her,when she leaves him,gets her head on straight,and her emotion in order,see how she stands then.

if you are truly in love then you will not walk away.in fact when two people are in love they develope a strong bond,which makes them good friends.my point is,even if you chose not to help her because you are in love with her,you should not turn your back on her as she is still your friend at the end of the day...

Why did you leave?
If she wants to be with you, then she needs to leave and stay away from her husband. And, you need to stay. If you two cannot do that, then you need to stop seeing each other.
