Since you (the driver) got a notice in the mail already, the Traffic Court will not send out another one to the registered owner. The violation will not be recorded on the vehicle registration history. The violation is only recorded on the driver's license history. Hint: If you are eligible for traffic school, take it to keep the violation point off your DMV record.

It's possible, probable even. Pay it as quickly as you can. I had the same exact problem years ago and my parents received the ticket as well as I. You may just want to tell Mom about the ticket. Hey - it's the holiday season, she can't kill you. Tell her you were afraid to tell her because you didn't want her upset with you, or feeling as if she couldn't trust you in her car again. It's no biggie. Your Mom should know that.
I only say to tell her because if you don't you can expect a good chance of her finding out when the mail comes, which will be the worst. I think the owner of the car most often gets the ticket (not parking, as long as it's paid on time). All the best.

Hi im from L.A and im 19 I recently got a ticket!... anyway I advise you go to traffic school My mistake was not going! .. once you go to traffic school everything will be cleared as if there was no ticket there will be a notice in the mail giving you the date and time of your court date under your name but if your mom is the one that receives the mail and opens your mail at that then she will find out.. not only that even if you pay the ticket but you dont go to traffic school her insurance company will raise the prices and that when she'll find out.. so the best thing to do is go to traffic school and get it cleared it will be like it never happened.

Good Luck! :)

Only if you don't pay it. When the insurance company finds out and they jack up her rates is when she will know that you were naughty behind the wheel.

Do like people are telling you and go to traffic school. They wipe if off your record. It's like it never happened.

Probably, yes. And especially if you don't pay it immediately.
