I have a boyfriend my 1st problem is that he is 4 years older than me hes 17 and im 13. Ive been going out with him on and off for a year and a half i dont know why he would ever go out with me if he didnt like me since ive known him since I was 6 years old and i dont think that he would want 2 hurt me. or would he? i mean i want 2 know if you guys think he really loves me like he says he does. I mean i believe him but he doesnt give me reasons 2 believe him. Its really sad because he says he loves me and all that other stuff but he doesnt prove it. I have 2 call him and he hardley ever picks up. Some of my friends say im stupid cuz im still going out with him they say he doesnt deserve me and that hes stupid 2! but do u guys think that my friends have a point. They say that i should dump him, wat do u guys think i should do? im really confused!!!!

I've been there in a reversed way. My 1st bf was 13 and I was 17 when I met him online (we never met irl) but my friends pretty much accused me of being a pedophile and it was a horrible experience, people accused me of "robbing the cradle" even though if he was 20 I'd be 24... He was 6'4" tall and looked like he was 18, and had a deep voice, so it was hard for me to see him for his age, but his immaturity came through and helped destroy things. So I know how you feel. Since he's older I would hope he is more mature but perhaps he is hesitant to prove his feelings because he may be under the same criticism of robbing the cradle. When he turns 18 his relationship with you will become illegal since he will be a legal adult and you are still a minor. It's best not to tell your friends about relationships like these since it will only crash and burn in the end since no one can understand the love-age gap. Maybe you should talk to him about this and see if this is the reason why.

Well being that you are thirteen,don't let your emotions get played with and you should create a policy of no,on and off again,because it just creates room for him,to do it,when its convienant,then break it off. You have so much time,and don't waste it on one guy. He is most likely avoiding you,and he came up with that lame excuse to sound incredibly emo,move on, you definitely can get better.

i think your friends are right bcuz he is too old for u.He says he love you to get in your pants. I hate to tell you this but this is true. Majority of this high-school boys that goes with this middle-school girls only looking for 1 thing. they think that they can get in your pants in thats it. Once he get it,he gone go on to another girl.I not saying that he can been really in love with you but its only a game.

Naturally, boys always say they love their girl.....What do you expect..honesty? boys learn very quick that they can't be honest with girls.....not your part is to not notice.
