I am not offgended by your questio, but I anm neither Christian or muslim. It is a free country and you are entitled to your opinion, but those who get offended are entitled to get offended and tell yahoo which is also free and entitled to delet questions. I have had answere removed because I offended someone.
First Bush is not the only President this country has ever had, global warming is not really happenning. I say this because at age 54 just 35 years ago this earth was experiencing cold spells and the doomsayers were saying we were in the beginning stages of a new ice age and it was how we treated this planet. Johnson, and Nixon and Carter were accused of allowing extremists to do whatever was causing the global freezing.
Second Some Christians are dangerous, I know because I have had my lefe threatened by them, but they are not near as dangerous as the islamic people. 911 was not attacked by Christians.
I would never be president because no matter what party you are if people do not like thngs it is your fault. Johnson got blamed tor Viet Nam Kennedy being assinated and all the things we suffered during that time and being a teenager at the time I joined in with the adults blaming him.
I recycle everything I can and if we all pitched in and quit griping at whoever is [resident and di what each of us can to save this planet we would see major changes. Change happens with PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.

Fundamententalist (read extremist) anything is dangerous. Period. I think it's convienent how all the Christians answering this question are so quick to point their fingers at the "raping killing Islamists", but what do they think happened during the Crusades? Read some history books and tell me that they didn't make Sherman's march through the south look like an Thanksgiving Day parade. And what's even more interesting about the amnesia is that the target of the Crusades was, guess who? The Muslims. Not to say they didn't torture their fair share of Jews on the way for killing Jesus. Oh, and as far as blowing themselves up, I've yet to see a Muslim bomb an abortion clinic, but I've read lots of stories about fundie Christians doing just that. But I guess that's okay because the Christians are just doing right by their beliefs. Whoops, wait, so are the fundie terrorist Muslims. But, just to show that I'm not a bigot, fundamentalist Jews are just as dangerous. Look at all this killing in the Middle East over two beautiful religions that worship the same God. ________________ Since posting this, I thought of yet another good exapmle of why extremists of anything are generally bad. Fundamentalist hippies = Manson Family = Mass murder's, not the least of which was a pregnant Sharon Tate. I also agree with a later poster who adds that the term Fundamentalist has been highjacked, so to speak. You'd think a Fundamentalist Christian would be out there on the streets clothing the poor from the strict definition of the term, not televangalizing bigotry for cash.

While the two extremes seem to rejoice is bringing about destruction in the name of God, what is more destructive is the accumulative damage that the supply and demand world we live in causes: thousands of jet flights, millions of vehicles and trucks, denuding our forests, genetically altered plants and trees......Each of us contributes. Think of all the waste the developed countries of the world create. We're using our resources faster then the planet can replenish and recycle the waste. Religion only plays a part in that destruction because the majority of people in developed countries are religious. Merry Christmas...oh, let me go turn on all the inside and outside decoration lights while I play on the computer!

Actually, most christians who believe we may be near the end times aren't trying to rush it along. It's not gonna be pretty for christians either you know, except for the ones who buy into the pre-trib rapture theory, which isn't really biblical. We christians don't want to destroy our world either, we don't like global warming or pollution anymore than anyone else. Quite a lot of us are big time recyclers. See, we don't know when the end will hit, so we need to take care of this planet for as long as possible. We live here too. So basically, you're just wrong, but I'm sure you don't really care. Much easier to rant about other's beliefs if you don't really know what they are.

Considering that global warming, if mankind has indeed affected it, is due in part to greed for money and power lust, then the problem is with man's inherent sinful nature, which isn't addressed as the cause of global warming, instead Christianity and religion in general is blamed for it. Christianity addresses the underlying cause of the negative affect man has on his environment.

The Bible states there will be a new heaven and earth formed. That being the truth, it's pointless trying to save the planet we have. Only God's plans are what matters. Many people want to save a tree but have no qualms about killing unborn babies.
Islam is just another cult. One of many false religions. Religions are man-made/Satan-endorsed. Christianity is faith in Christ and what He did at the Cross ( and 3 days later rose to show through Him,we can defeat death and have everlasting life)

I have not heard of any Christians saying they will butcher me and my family....Have you?... btw Those of The True Christian Faith are as concerned for the environment as any one... we are to be the stewards of what God provides... and mankind as a whole is not doing all the good a job... in my opinion
