The traditional Long Island is (the 5 "white" liquors in the well) as follows;

1 oz vodka
1oz rum
1 oz gin
1 oz (white) tequila
1 oz triple sec
1 1/2 part sweet & sour mix
splash of coke

Mix over ice in a glass (tall)
pour into shaker, shake briskly
return to glass garnish w/lemon & a cherry & serve

Ingredients:

* 1 part Vodka
* 1 part Tequila
* 1 part Rum
* 1 part Gin
* 1 part Triple sec
* 1 1/2 part Sour mix
* 1 splash Coca-Cola

Mixing instructions:

Mix ingredients together over ice in a glass. Pour into shaker and give ONE brisk shake. Pour back into glass and make sure there is a touch of fizz at the top. Garnish with lemon.

1/2 shot Vodka
1/2 shot triple sec

(add 1/2 shot Tequila for a Texas Tea)

Fill the rest of the glass with ice and sweet and sour mix. Top off with a splash of Coke. Garnish with a lemon wedge or wheel.

Good answer Ro b. But triple the amounts of liquor for a "Strong Island" And buy top shelf brands for a better taste, buzz and hangover!
