in all honesty, I agree with you. He earned the money, and unless he got it in a lottery, or his siblings helped him, he should choose what he wants to do with the money. although I do think that with that much money, if one of his siblings need help, then he should help them, and he should be more generous with his will, but other then that, nope. (I'm almost in a similiar predicament, but everyone understands. out of our whole family, we range in wealth, for the most part)

The millionaire has a million bucks because he did what it took to get it. The rest don't have it because they didn't do what it took. Him giving away money is a mistake. They need to work hard if they want what he has. He owes them nothing, not even advice. They wouldn't take it anyway, but they would take his money.
If he set up a business, he would have to do all the work. The lazy ones who think that all you have to do is open a business and watch the cash come in don't have a clue. I bet he knows this and he also knows which of his sibs are golddiggers.

I agree with you. It is not his responsiblity to finance someone in the family. He should give as he feels he should and not feel obligated in any way. He did not become a millionaire by being stupid with his money. I think the siblings who want to be millionaires should ask him for advice or even try to be an intern under him-unpaid!

I agree with you. It is his creativity, time and energy that got him where he is. Your other siblings need to grow up and stop expecting a free ride. What your millionaire sibbling could do is have a seminar with the family and explain how he did it and give them some hints as to how they can also. If not all of them, you should seek his advice since you are not after his money.

You are so right he did work hard very hard might i say. And why would he want family to work for him? Family is a big no-no when you are trying to run a business he doesn't want to go broke. I'm sure he has his reasons, and why would he just want to give money away.

If he worked hard for his money and no one in the family supported him then he doesnt owe anyone any of his money. However family usually helps family if he has a job that a family member can do and needs then he should be willing to help by giving them the chance to do it.

well my uncle is a little more richer than the rest of his 5 siblings. he dosent go off and just give them the money. if they REALLY need it, then he'll loan them some and not ask for any back, but he HAS worked hard for his money and he wants his sibling to work hard and earn money, too, and not just have it be given too them. But my uncle isnt greedy or n e thing. he'll give his sibling money in a time of need for them. or he will always help them finacially if they need help. my point is he dont want them to take the easy road.
I think he should tell you guys to work for your money, but if you guys SERIOUSLY need help getting back on track, he'll help.

He does not owe anyone in his family anything. He worked hard to get to where he is today, sounds as if the rest want everything handed to them, they don't deserve to share in his good fortunes.

Yes, I believe you are right. Spreading the wealth that you earned (even if it is with family) seems to mimic communism...

You are right. He earned it and worked for it.
You will be given what you work for. Being rich is not all what it is cracked us to be.
Be you and be thankful for what God gives you.
