Yes, you can get a ticket if you're in the turn lane and don't have your signal light on. It also has to be the left signal light if you plan to turn left. You actually have to turn left if you're in the left turn only lane. Given your screen name I'm not sure how much more detail you will require.

It's the law in all states that you must signal your intention to turn. You may do so manually, also. But you are breaking the law by not making your intention known in any way. Sorry. Learning curve can be expensive. Or you could have just read the driver's manual to start with. Oh, you don't read instruction manuals?

Yes, we really are laughing at you. No empathy here, but you can have my lump of coal.

Yes... just the fact that you're changing lanes dictates a signal much more for a full on turn.

Yes, it is a law, no matter when or where you turn, you must use a turn signal. I think it is dumb, but I got pulled over for not doing it, so I would say according to my ticket, that is is illegal to not use your turn signal. Just remember to turn it on anytime you turn no matter what!!

It depends on where you are. Our regs have an exception for when the signal isn't needed, that's something like the old "if a tree falls in the forest and nobody's there to hear" conundrum.

Yes, you must use your turn signal. People that do not use their signals are jerkoffs. I hate being delayed because a person makes me wait and then they turn. If they were no lazy, traffic would run much more smoothly.

Considering how many people don't use signal lights I guess it isn't a law.
