I'm getting my hair done in a few weeks and I was just wondering what I should do: Go darker or go lighter?? I was even thinking some blonde highlights...I just don't know!! Check out my pic please and help me out! Thanks!

Also I was wondering if I should keep the style with the side bangs or do something different...I'm just sooo confused on what to do!

First, I think you have very nice hair ... but I would go with styling it a little differently.

Next ... I have dark hair like you do & don't think blonde streaks are the way to go ... (looks like U have some leftover streaks from another time you did it.)
I had some red streaks put in mine and it looks cool.
Not bright red but a dark red with golden overtones.
Red is hot right now. I think you should try that before the blonde idea. It's too contrasty.

You're so pretty, and I think that your hair suits you perfectly just as it is. I'd kill for chocolate hair and brown eyes like yours - and a tan! (OMG a tan is like a dream with this Nordic skin.) Heck, I'd even take a guy with your coloring! Got a brother by chance??? :D
If you really want to change it though, I'm with la bruja on the red highlights. I've seen it done with all different shades of red, from light to dark, and it was really nicely done and pretty. I love your real color though.
There are sites on the web that let you upload your face pic and "try on" different hairstyles. I've used them, but have forgotten what they're called, they're really neat to play with. Maybe someone else knows of them and can post the name here, I'm stymied right now. I'm thinking that it might have been on a wig site, but sleep dep is taking it's toll. Sorry.

I would definatly keep the side bangs and you should just add a few highlights. Since it is winter then you should keep it on the darker side. Highlights would look awesome.

Your hair is totally cute, keep the style. Try carmel highlights against that nice brown, or if you want to do something a little more racy, try a fine red highlight.

Blonde highlights definitely! Ur hair is a little dark so making it kinda lighter will look nice.

Your hair is really pretty in that pic! I wouldn't do anything, but if you have to, go darker. I think any lighter would wash out your complexion. Good Luck! <3

Your hair looks nice. I wouldn't do anything drastic, just a good trim and shaping. Ask the person working on your for ideas about the bangs. Look in books, magazines. Basically, I think the dark hair looks good on you with your dark eyes.

Deep red/burgandy would be gorgous with your colouring. Have seen red & blonde highlights mixed & it can look really effective

ur hair looks nice, u should keep it the way it is. but if i had to choose, get the highlights. so you'll have the natural hair color and a new one.

Stick to a color that is closest to your natural color. Its easier to keep up. Streaks are a waste of money. Brunettes always look the best! Sorry blondies.
