GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This could be a heart attack.

Go to your doctor as soon as possible. DO NOT go to the emergency room unless the pain is alleviated by rest. If it still hurts while your body is at rest, it is more than likely an upper respiratory infection of some kind. Go to the Walk-In Clinic tomorrow if you can't get an appointment tomorrow. Good Luck.

Although I agree that you should get checked out by a doctor, I would suspect that because the pain worsens on movement, it is possibly a musculoskeletal cause. Have you lifted anything heavy or otherwise strained a muscle?

Consider trying an anti-inflammatory drug, such as ibuprofen. However, as the possibility of a heart problem or gastro problem is serious, talk to your doctor first.

Definatly talk to a doctor asap! Since you have been that way a full week I would guess that that it isn't heart attack this time but that doesn't mean you shouldn't get your heart checked out. You could have a rapid heart beat. I would believe that there is a gas problem contributing to this as well.

It sounds like it could be either a respiratory infection (bronchitis, pneumonia, etc.) or maybe pleurisy (inflammation of the lining of the lungs). My husband had pleurisy, and it was very painful until he was prescribed an anti-inflammatory medicine. Definitely get it checked!

You need to see a doctor. Don't delay. It could be gas pain or something more serious. Get going now!
