I got my crush a giant hersheys kiss for christmas. He seemed really happy about it and was like "I'll get you something too!" and i said "No, you dont have to" and he never did get me something. But the other day all of his friends were crowded around his locker "oooh"ing and "ahhh"ing and looking over at me, so i dont know if he just chickend out! What do you guys think???
P.S. He's really shy. I think he might like me but i don't know! Do you think this was rude? Do you think he just forgot??

Don't worry about it. He may just be shy about it or something. Or you never know you might get a gift tomorrow or something.
If you don't get one just be friendly to him and stuff as you always would, so that doesn't make him think that you will not talk to him because he didn't get you anything.

What were his friends ooing and ahing at? maybe he has something special he wants to give to you that he's hiding until he feels the time is right and that's why his friends were looking back and forth at you and whatever he had. Unless they were looking at the hershey's kiss you gave him. He should have given you something in return, saying you don't want a gift is a polite way of saying "yes" lol So if it's the latter I'd say he was rude. But he may not know any better, since a lot of people don't even know the words "thank you" anymore.

Well he took you at your word when you told him he didn't have to get you anything. Obviously he didn't think it was necessary but you must admit he did offer to get you something since you got him something. Just because he is shy doesn't really mean he is rude and I wouldn't call him rude either. His friends were impressed with what you gave him. I don't think he forgot either after all he still knew you gave him the Hersheys. Whenever someone says to you, "I'll get you something too," you should say, "You don't have to but if you want to that would be nice." See the difference? Remember this next time.

You told him not to worry about it so he probably didnt worry about getting you a gift, maybe he doenst have the money to, it could be any reason you wont know unless you ask him, but are you really considered the reasons of why he didnt buy you a gift
