3 books? The Old Testament and New Testament Protestant Bibles have 66 separate books and letters. The Catholic Bible has more. The Quran, I have no idea. They all fear God because they believe the words to the books were inspired by God and they fear disobedience to God's word.

Sorry but God's Laws are not made of three Books. It is mentioned in all the three books, but God's Laws, also known as the Ten Commandments is written on two slabs of stones, by His own fingers, and then put in the Ark of the Covenant in the Temple in Jerusalem.

We should not fear God's Law or the Ten Commandments, but we should fear God, and obey His commandments.

Ecclesiastes 12:13,14
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:

Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man’s all.
14 For God will bring every work into judgment,
Including every secret thing,
Whether good or evil.

Revelation 14:6,7
6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— 7 saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”

Revelation 22:14,15

14 Blessed are those who do His commandments,[g] that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But[h] outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

To fear God means, to respect and love Him and obey His commandments just as we love our parents and try to please them in doing what they like.

If you read the end of the second book, it said that no man should add any further. So people who actually read it, don't believe that the Quran really is God laws, just another man posing as God. Read Revelations for more information.

I've read most of the Old Testament, all of the New Testament, and all of the Qur'an. I think there is wisdom in all of them (especially the morals of Jesus), but I do not believe they are of divine origin.

The definition of fear needs to be examined. Christians say to Fear the Lord. This mean to respect with great admiration and authority. We do fear for our lack of salvation or separation from Jesus, we Fear (respect) immensely the God of Love.

Vastly different perceptive upon the definition of the word.

So, god is imaginary and the bible was written by man. This is a fact. Therefore, if you follow the bible, you are actually following MANS law. In fact, you are following MIDDLE EASTERN MANS law that was relevant maybe thousands of years ago.

Yeh, that is scary....

Most of them make sense. But I wouldn't say people "fear" them. Well, I don't. I do try to live by them (most of them). Some are common sense. I have no desire to go around murdering folks or stealing from people.

Honey, you can read 2/3 of a book and make the decision that the book is stupid or false. I can read about 10 pages and make that determination.
