Keep his toe nails clipped. When he is biting make what ever he is biting go to the back part of his mouth. Kinda like, "If you want something to chew on, here take it all" and if it's your finger just move your fingers into the back jaw. Along with this, using one finger, thump him on his nose. I don't mean tap him on the nose I mean thump him on his nose. It is his mouth that is causing the problem so you thump his nose. Along with a sturdy deep from the throat, "NO". You'll get results if you are consistent, show the pup that you are not another puppy. You would be in lots of pain if you were to play with him as he would play with litter mates.

High pitched and sweet when good, deep from the throat (like a growl)when bad. Words don't matter but the tone means a lot.

He's just being a puppy. All puppies do this and some of the 2 month old can be pretty big. You only have a teny tiny problem. LOL

Your puppy is barely old enough to be away from his mother - you need to take on the responsibility now. He is excited, so don't punish him for being happy. However he needs to learn that reacting to people by scratching and biting is not right. Tell new people to ignore him until he settles down. Turn your back to him until he is sitting or doing what you want. Remember - puppies don't know words or commands yet and it won't work to yell. Stay calm. Make sure you have lots of chew toys for him that are puppy safe - and take him to the groomer for his nails to be trimmed also. Enroll in a Puppy school with your family so everyone learns about taking care of a puppy.

He's doing what infant puppies do. As as new owner, it is your responsibility to teach him to not do this. One way is that everytime he puts his teeth on you, (or scratches) no matter how easy, yelp -- just like his littermates would do if he did that to them. No yelling. When you yelp, that will grab his attention and more than likely he will drop your hand or leg or whatever. When he drops it, give him a treat or praise him up. Generally have a party and tell him he's the best! You need to be consistent. No teeth on skin -- ever -- even in play! With plenty of love and a good diet, he will grow to be a strong little boy. You gotta be patient.

Now's the time to get him started on chew toys! Get him those treats as well which last long made of dried pig ears or hide. Learn to clip his claw tips. Starting at an early age will make this job alot easier for you and him. Good luck!

well puppies do that.....it is called teething. The teeth he has now will all fall out. Go to a petstore and ask them what they recommend for a teething puppy....I recommend Nylabone puppy starter kit....they are awsome for teething....Good Luck...keep his naild trimmed that will help with the scratching....and they are sharp puppy nails....

Try dog training classes. Many shelters and pet stores offer low cost classes.
