Assuming they were legitimate inquiries that you authorized, you can't. That's why they are on there.
Now if there are inquiries from companies you never gave permission to do so, or never applied for, then dispute it with the credit bureau.

Yeah! quit applying for loans, credit cards and stop giving out your SSN. Though I am not sure about this one, but I think that there's a time frame in which if a company is listed in the inquire, but has not given you credit that this inquire is deleted from your credit file.

It's a waiting game. Wait 2 years from date of inquiry for it to fall off automatically.
In the meantime refrain from apply for new credit cards or loans which will add a new inquiry to your credit report.
If my memory serves correctly new credit or inquires account for 10% of your total credit score (fico)?

you cannot take these off.
however the amount does not hurt your credit so much as the type.
if you have 5 car loan inqueries, it is rated the same as 1 however if you have 1 car inquery, 1 credit card inquery and a morgage inquery your rate would be considerably lower.
the whole thing needs to be re-evaluated.

There is no way to erase your inquiries, they stay on your credit report for upto 1yr.
