Well, if it is with other pups it may have gotten nipped and it will eventually heal. If you aren't sure of the cause and it seems to be getting worse, you should give a call to your vet for advice and/or if you got the pup from a breeder, give them a call and see if they can help.
You are doing good that you don't just let things slide and turn into bigger/sadder problems later.

Be patient. Most things heal with time, and if it doesn't, you can throw away tons of money on doggie cosmetic surgery, or learn to live with a little imperfection in your life.

I have heard that dogs can break their noses! I'd take that pooch to the vet asap!!
